Prefer the classic installer?
The original RUSHSIFT-setup-web.exe — a quick Google or email sign-in, then the .exe downloads straight from GitHub releases.
Do I need an account to download?
No website account needed. The Microsoft Store handles the install with your usual Microsoft sign-in. The classic .exe installer below only asks for a quick Google or email sign-in.
What does the 200-file cap mean?
You can index up to 200 files in total across every folder you add — the whole app counts as one library. The allowance refreshes every 14 days — or Pro removes the cap for good.
Already installed?
Store version: updates install themselves — nothing to do. Classic installer: run the newest .exe over your copy with RushSift closed. Your index is kept.
How do I get Pro?
Open the app, tap “Unlock”, and pay securely inside RushSift via Polar. One payment — unlocked forever.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. First launch downloads the search model (~1 GB) once, so you'll need a connection that one time.
